HCI offers the COVID-19 RT-PCR test and the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card rapid antigen test. Both of these tests are self-administered, meaning our occupational health technician provides test materials and instructs the test subject on how to collect a sample of respiratory material from their own nose.

Watch the video below to see our testing process.

For the COVID-19 RT-PCR test, the sample is sealed in a tube in the presence of the test subject and sent to a laboratory for processing. Sample collection takes only a few minutes and the laboratory will email you regarding the results in 24-72 hours.

For the BinaxNOW Ag Card rapid antigen test, the sample is placed onto a test card and results are ready within 15 minutes. Results are provided via the NAVICA mobile app or email. The NAVICA app is available in the App Store and on Google Play. Click one of the buttons below to download the NAVICA App to your mobile device.

We also offer Rapid Antibody testing by Assure. This is a blood test used to determine if you have developed an antibody response to COVID-19 due to current or prior infection.

Both the PCR and Rapid Antigen tests use a nasal swab sample to determine if you have an active COVID-19 infection.

The Rapid Antibody test uses a fingerstick blood sample to assess if you have antibodies to the virus that causes COVD-19 or the vaccine. A positive test result indicates it is possible that you have or previously had COVD-19 and that you have developed an antibody response to the virus or vaccine. A negative test result indicates that the antibodies to the virus that causes COVD-19 were not found in your sample.
Anyone can be tested, but if under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The testing is performed in a ventilated testing trailer which is a few steps above ground level. If you are not physically able to enter the testing trailer please note on the "Appointment Confirmation Details" page and upon "Check-in". The Technician will assess what reasonable accommodations can be made to ensure you are able to test successfully.

You can be tested with or without symptoms. If you have no symptoms but have possibly been exposed, we recommend waiting 3 days from exposure to ensure accurate results.
Please bring your facemask, state ID, and health insurance card (if insured). For the fee-based testing options, we accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
There is no out-of-pocket cost for the COVID-19 RT-PCR test. For the fee-based testing options we accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

If you have insurance please provide your insurance information during registration and your insurance will be billed accordingly. You are not required to pay up front and will not receive a bill at any time.
When you arrive for your reserved appointment, please "Check-In" via the confirmation email you received, proceed to the HCI testing trailer and await instruction from our occupational health technician who will be wearing full personal protective equipment including gown, mask, face shield and gloves. You will be escorted into our ventilated testing trailer to complete a COVID-19 prescreening questionnaire and have your temperature taken (other accommodations may be required that include testing at your vehicle window). You will then move to the testing area where our technician will guide you through the process of collecting the necessary sample of respiratory material from your nose. The sample will be sealed and prepared for shipment to the laboratory. At the end of the test, a hand-out will be provided to you with next steps. All areas in the testing trailer are thoroughly disinfected between each appointment.

Two samples will be collected. One will be placed onto the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card to await technician interpretation and the other will be sent to the laboratory for RT-PCR analysis. The rapid test results will be available in approximately 15 minutes and the RT-PCR results will be available 24-72 hours after sample collection. All areas in the testing trailer are thoroughly disinfected between each appointment.
Our occupational health technician will obtain the necessary blood sample from your fingertip. The sample will be evaluated on-site and you will receive the results via email or phone in approximately 15 minutes. A positive test result indicates it is possible that you have or previously had COVD-19 and that you have developed an antibody response to the virus or vaccine. A negative test result indicates that the antibodies to the virus that causes COVD-19 were not found in your sample. However, it is possible for this test to give a negative result in some people with COVD-19. A negative result may also occur if you are in early states of a COVID-19 infection and your body hasn’t had time to produce antibodies to the infection.

For the free COVID-19 RT-PCR test, you will typically receive your results 24-48 hours after sample collection. In rare cases it may take up to 72 hours, depending on laboratory capacity. For the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card rapid antigen test, results are available via the NAVICA app within 15-20 minutes. Alternately you can choose to have the results emailed to you.

One benefit of using the NAVICA app is that it allows people who test negative to get an encrypted temporary digital NAVICA Pass, similar to an airline boarding pass. NAVICA-enabled organizations will be able to verify an individual’s negative COVID-19 test result by scanning the individual’s digital NAVICA Pass to facilitate entry into facilities.
